In accordance with DIN ISO 8255-1: 2003-05 the refractive index is n = 1.525 ± 0.0015.

Marienfeld Superior coverslips do not emit any disturbing auto-fluorescence under the ultraviolet light of fluorescence microscopy.

Thickness n. 1.5 (0.16 - 0.19 mm) from raw material without bubbles or scratches

n. 1 (0.130 - 0.160 mm - standard thickness)

n. 2 (0.190 - 0.230 mm)
