Chemical HOOD with activated carbon filter

The Asalair Carbo extractor hood mod. 900 is a benchtop chemical fume hood with molecular filtration, with activated carbon filter.

Excellent cabin for the protection of personnel and the environment, it is suitable for handling organic and inorganic substances that produce toxic or foul-smelling vapors: in fact, it retains in its activated carbon filter all the molecules harmful to breathing and the environment; however, it does not protect the product handled in it from external contamination.

It can be used in all cases where it is not essential to protect the product from the air present in the laboratory (e.g. opening of biological samples to be analyzed, handling of organic and inorganic substances that produce toxic or foul-smelling vapors, as protection for centrifuges or equipment at risk of aerosols, etc.).

The activated carbon filter for generic substances (TYPE A) absorbs most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, solvents, organic vapors, ketones, alcohols, organic acids, esters, halogens, unpleasant odors, sulfur compounds.

For other substances such as ammonia, aldehyde and derivatives, acid gases, iodine, mercury (TYPE B), order the hood with carbon filter impregnated for one of these substances.

Steel construction with anti-acid powder coating, RAL 9010.

It can be installed on any bench.
The standard worktop has a basin in Aisi 316L 2B satin stainless steel, removable, which allows the hood to be housed even on tubs or sinks.

NEW Possibility to order the worktop in WHITE POLYPROPYLENE OR IN MONOLITHIC CERAMIC GRES with high resistance to acids, alkalis, bases and high temperatures.
On request with tub and drain.

900 / A: ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER FOR GENERIC SUBSTANCES
900 / B: MPREGNATED CARBON FILTER FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS, to be chosen from the following: Iodine / Mercury / Aldehyde and derivatives / Ammonia / Acid gases.

• In case of power failure, while using the service socket: when the power returns, the socket command flashes, the display flashes and indicates the time left before the interruption. Press the socket control to reactivate the countdown.

SAFETY
