Cellulose acetate membranes are ideal for biological and clinical analyzes, sterilization tests, scintillation and filtration measurements of aqueous and alcoholic fluids, as well as for hot gases.
Low protein absorption and excellent thermal properties.
Membranes are autoclavable but must be moistened during autoclaving.
Large flow rate (22 ml / min), thermal stability (up to 180 ° C) and very low adsorption rate.
The 0.2 micron porosity is excellent for the sterilization of aqueous solutions, buffers, sera and fluids.
Higher porosity threshold for ultra cleaning and particle removal.
Above 1.2 μm, the membranes contain glycerin which can be removed by rinsing with water.
Stable in the pH range 4 and 8, they are resistant to most alcohols, hydrocarbons and oils.
Can be sterilized in an autoclave (at 121 ° C or 134 ° C), by gamma irradiation or ethylene oxide.
The 3.1 x 3.1 mm lattice facilitates the counting of particles, microorganisms and colonies.
Sterile, in single pack of 100 pieces
Membranes with different porosities and diameters are available on request:
• sterile white without lattice
• sterile black with lattice
